The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences provides medical and surgical services for ocular diseases and eye disorders. The department's faculty offers ophthalmic consultations and performs computerized visual field testing, and diagnostic electrophysiology testing, including electroretinography, visual-evoked potentials, ultrasonography, photography and fluorescein angiography. Subspecialties include retinal and vitreous problems, corneal and external disease, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, oculo-plastic surgery and pediatric ophthalmology. The department also offers ophthalmic pathology services.
