The University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences currently offers three fellowship opportunities. The Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship has a two-year surgical program (which is now AUPO FCC compliant) and a one-year medical retina fellowship.  Additionally, a one-year Glaucoma Fellowship program, Pediatric Fellowship Program, Cornea Fellowship program, and Oculoplastics (through UofL) program are offered.

The Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship programs are administered jointly through the University of Kentucky and the private practice of Retina Associates of Kentucky. Two surgical positions are offered with a new fellow beginning each year. The first year fellow and the second year fellow rotate between the two sites.

One medical retina fellow is offered and the fellow rotates between the two sites.
